Most Africans, especially Nigerians know Aliko Dangote as the richest person in Africa, however, it seems he has been knocked off his perch.
We say this because, according to Google, there is a woman who is a Nigerian and this woman is now richer than Dangote.
This beautiful woman is known as Folorunsho Alakija and she is the woman who is richer than Dangote.
At the age of 69, she has a collection of some of the most expensive houses in Africa, with one of her houses being bulletproof.
However, we d on’t agree with Google on this one because we checked for their respective purported net-worth and we discovered that Dangote has a net-worth of $11.7 billion whiles she has a net-worth of $1 billion.
This got us thinking as we asked ourselves how can 1 by more than 11.7. Well, maybe Google has some other data it used, but if we are to use the list from Forbes, then Aliko Dangote still sits on his thrown as the richest person in Africa because even the first 18 names on Forbes’s recent list of richest people doesn’t include a lady.
