Reports emerging suggest that the acting chairman of the ruling, All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Rivers State has been suspended by the State Executive Committee.
The acting chairman, Igo Aguma was accused of flouting the party’s constitution as well as taking some decisions without consulting important parties.

This was revealed by Andrew Uchendu, Senator representing Rivers East Senatorial District.
As we speak, Sokonte Davies has been chosen by the State Executive Committee to serve in the capacity as the chairman.
