Nigerian Afrobeat music superstar, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun known by his stage name as Wizkid has turned to God after watching President Muhammadu Buhari deliver his speech yesterday.
You would recall that about a week ago, Wizkid was slammed for disrespecting Buhari when he referred to him as an ‘old man’.
In live broadcast on national television, Buhari touched on several issues condemning thugs and hoodlums vandalizing properties and destroying people’s home including thwarting the genuine motive by #EndSARS protesters.
Reacting to Buhari’s address to the nation on #EndSARS protest and the uprising in the country, the Starboy Label CEO expressed hopelessness in the country’s call for good governance and protection of human lives.
Wizkid now resorted to begging God to intervene in the affairs of Nigeria after giving up on the fight with Buhari on making things better in the country.
Wizkid took to Twitter to write,
“Sigh! God pls help Nigeria.”
