Nigerian author, Reno Omokri has labeled Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi as the second most popular Igbo man on earth.
The renowned personality made this known in a recent post he made on his verified social media handle on the popular social media platform, Twitter.
His comments come after Peter Obi’s ex-aide, Chief Digar Ezenwafor emerged as the presidential candidate of the LP Factional party.
In Reno’s view, Chief Digar Ezenwafor should step down for Peter Obi to have a smooth ride to Aso Rock because aside from Nnamdi Kanu, Peter Obi is the most popular Igbo person.
Reno’s post reads;
“After Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, Peter Obi is the most popular Igbo man on planet Earth. He represents the Igbo zeitgeist and has the mandate of many Nigerian youths. I therefore appeal to Chief Digar Ezenwafor to consider this, and step down for Peter in Nigeria’s interest!”
