Celebrated Ghanaian rapper, Enoch Nana Yaw Oduro- Agyei, well known as Trigmatic has averred that the agricultural sector in Ghana needs to be rebranded internationally in other to attract the youth.

Ghana is well-known as one of the top investors in Agriculture in Africa. Ghana produces a wide range of crops in climatic zones that range from dry savanna to wet forest and span east-west across the country. Agriculture in Ghana is based on agricultural crops such as yams, grains, cocoa, oil palms, kola nuts, and timber.

Trigmatic has revealed that the sector can be rebranded in order to attract the majority of the youth in the country who find the sector to be unattractive. He averred that the essence of the sector needs to be highlighted in order to see its implications on all industries in the country.

Taking to his Twitter, he wrote;

It’s is time to highlight all other contributors and contributions that the sector has on all industries . Agric need to be rebranded intentionally to attract a chunk of the youth who shun away from the sector. Agric is not limited to farming , it is bigger than that
