It looks like the strained relationship between famous SA rapper AKA
and his former in-laws keeps growing as the days go by. This is after Anele’s father Moses Tembe allegedly hired a private investigator to probe into his daughter’s death, with the rapper viewed as a suspect.
Mr Moses Tembe has refused to take AKA’s word, which is she apparently committed suicide. This was said in his statement which was read at Anele’s memorial service.
Moses Tembe rubbished claims his daughter was mental or suicidal. According to him, his daughter might have died as a result of severe alcohol and drug abuse.
A local publication claims to have been contacted by someone very close to the rapper. According to the source, AKA is not happy with the situation because he feels Anele’s family is trying to dig up something so he could be blamed for untimely passing, even after telling them what happened.
The new twist in the tale is that AKA wants the expensive Rolex watch he bought Anele back. After acquiring the expensive diamond watch for Anele, the rapper took his social media to celebrate with his late fiancée to show off the pricy asset.
Apart from the Rolex watch AKA is believed to have spent around R300k on lobola for Anele Tembe.
