Ghanaian highlife musician Akwaboah has offered an explanation to why he doesn’t use profane words in his songs.
According to the astute songwriter, he is conscious of his choice of words as far his music is concerned knowing that he will be accountable to God for every word.
“I am very conscious of what I write because one day when God asks me why did you use that word, I will not be found wanting. I always want to do songs that will influence society positively. I have told myself never to use any profane words in my songs, never,” he said.
