The flying officer was born in Iffe in the Ijumu Local Government Area of ​​Kogi State, Nigeria and her death comes in less than eight months after she was decorated.

She was enrolled into the Nigerian Defence Academy on 22nd September 2012 and she was commissioned into the Nigeri an Airforce on 16 September 2017 as a member of the Nigerian Defence Academy Regular Course 64.

In October 2019, the Nigerian Air Force decorated her as the first female combat pilot in over five decades since the Air Force started operations.

She was decorated on the same day with her fellow female pilot, Kafayat Sanni. However, Kafayat was the first female fighter pilot winged with Tolulope Arotile being the first female helicopter pilot.

In her short service in the Nigerian Air Force, she was said to have made immense contribution in the fight against armed bandits in the North Central States and other criminal elements by flying several combat missions under Operation GAMA AIKI in Minna, Niger State.
