Ghanaian actress and socialite, Andrea Owusu, widely known as Efia Odo has also penned down her reaction to the recent address of the nation by the president on the economic issues in the country.

The president of Ghana, H.E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, spoke to Ghanaians on October 30, 2022, about the steps his administration was about to take to revive the nation’s flagging economy.
Well, the president managed to arouse negative reactions from Ghanaians to his address amid their eagerness to hear the strategy he and his government had in mind to stop the economy from deteriorating further.
This comes shortly after it was reported that the Bank of Ghana (BoG) will be implementing new rules for holders of foreign currency accounts as part of the steps and new directions adopted by the Akufo Addo-led government to preserve the economy.
The rumor states that holders of foreign currency accounts will be compelled to withdraw their foreign funds at the Bank of Ghana’s rate. This rumor was quickly disproven, though.
In reaction to that, Efia Odo has chided the president to say something of substance instead of making hollow statement at this catastrophic time of the economy.
