One of Nigeria’s most sought after comedian, Bright Okpocha, widely known as Basketmouth has revealed why he went back to doing music.

In a recent interview on Cool FM, the renowned award winning Nigerian comedian cum musician revealed that music has always been his first love adding that he discovered comedy through music.

In his own words; ‘music has always been his first love and i discovered comedy through music’. When asked if he was fulfilled with his achievement in comedy, he answered; ‘I don’t feel fulfilled, there are things I’ve not done yet, there places I’ve not performed that i would love to perform’.

He also spoke about how his creative journey among other interesting topics. The Nigerian comedian and actor has so far released two star-studded studio albums namely; ‘Yabasi’ which was served in 2020 and ‘Horoscopes’, published in 2022 with several other impressive singles.

In other news; Multiple award winning Nigerian singer-songwriter, Wizkid has shared the music video for his favorite song; ‘True Love’ directed by Nabil Elderkin. The P2J produced single features Jamiacan singer, Projexx and Nigerian singer, Tay Iwar.

‘True Love’ happens to be the ninth track off his star-studded studio album tagged, ‘Made In Lagos’. The new music video feature Jamaican-Canadian fashion model and a public spokesperson on vitiligo, Chantelle Whitney Brown-Young, professionally called Winnie Harlow.
