Young talented Nigerian musician, Akinbiyi Abiola Ahmed, widely known as Bella Shmurda has spoken about his exclusion from the music festival, Afro Nation.
The 2022 Afronation which was hosted in Portugal saw a number of Nigerian talents but Bella Shmurda was absent from the mix. Speaking in a recent interview, with famous YouTuber, Korty, the ‘New Born Fela’ crooner lamented about it.
According to Bella Shmurda, he wasn’t approached to perform at the 2022 Afronation and this really hurts him adding that he is equally a bigger artiste and has bigger songs than some of the performers at the show.

“I’m supposed to be there, I’m also a big artiste in Nigeria. Even those that went for Afronation, some of them I have better hits than them, bigger hits.” Speaking on his feelings, he mentioned that he questioned the decision, and when Korty had asked “Those kind of things do they used to pain you?” Bella replied saying; “He dey pain me o.”, He said.
The 2022 Afronation 2022 saw performance from several Nigerian talents including Burna Boy, BNXN, Rema, Niniola, Omah Lay and others.
MEANWHILE: Renowned Nigerian musician and performer, Adewale Mayowa Emmanuel, better known by his stage name, Mayorkun has canceled his upcoming concert in Toronto, Canada.
The naturally talented recording and performing artiste has taken to his official social media pages to confirm confirmed the cancellation of his impending concert in Toronto, Canada whiles explaining to fans why this was necessary.
According to the ‘Certified Loner’, the concert in Toronto, Canada was been canceled due to reasons he and his team could not control. He disclosed that he and his team had tried to secure the necessary permits required to hold a concert but were not successful in their attempts.
Taking to his verified Instagram page, he wrote; “Toronto! I’m sorry i wont be performing at the show tomorrow. My team & i have done everything within our control to secure the required permits to allow me perform but to no avail. Its soooo sad we are doing this but we ll have to postpone the concert to a later date.”
