Ghanaian born professional sprinter, Benjamin Azamati-Kwaku, popularly known as Benjamin Azamati has been named the Best Sports Personality at the Ghana Entertainment Awards USA 2022.
The 4th Ghana Entertainment Awards USA was held on Friday night, July 8 into the early hours of Saturday, July 9, 2022. The event marks its return from a two-year break due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
GEA USA is aimed at projecting the achievements of Ghanaian creatives and entertainers excelling in various crafts in and outside Ghana. The event also uses the platform to celebrate and promote Ghanaian talents.

This years edition took place at the BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center in New York. Benjamin Azamati beat Evelyn Badu, Samuel Takyi, Thomas Partey and Coach Yussif Basigi to win the coveted prize.
