Nigerian superstar and Spaceship Entertainment head, Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, better known by his stage name, Burna Boy is having a good run with with ‘Last Last’.
The Grammy award winning singer, songwriter and performing artiste wasn’t capping when he stated that he has made more money with the chart topping tune than any of his other hit songs.
The African Giant, Burna Boy has achieved another global career milestone as his 2022 jam, ‘Last Last’ which is off his recent album, ‘Love, Damini’ has sold over 500,000 units in United States Of America.

This feat makes the ‘Last Last’ eligible for a Gold Certification by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). ‘Last Last’ is also the first Afrobeats song to have sold over a 500,000 units in lees than 17 weeks after it’s release.
With this achievement, Burna Boy has officially broken the record set by Wizkid with ‘Essence’ which took more than 17 weeks to bag a gold certification by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA)
MEANWHILE: Raving Nigerian recording and performing artiste, Tobechukwu Victor Okoh, professionally called Peruzzi has responded to a post that stated he wrote 80% of Davido’s hit songs.
The 30 BG singer and songwriter, has taken to social media on Monday, September 12, 2022 to respond to a post made by a netizen who had published that, the singer had written 80% of his label boss Davido’s songs.
Peruzzi who released an eye pleasing visuals to his chart topping tune, ‘‘Hypertension, on Monday, September 12, 2022 is one never to shy away from speaking his mind and had been vocal in his direct response to the tweet.
The post read, “After seeing this video, I agree that Peruzzi wrote 80% of Davido’s hit! Same pattern bro!!” Peruzzi responded with a post that read, “Okay, Name 1 Davido Song That Has The Same Pattern As “Hypertension”. I Won’t Wait. Stop CAPPIN”. See screenshot below.
