The Mavin Records boss and artist Don Jazzy has defended himself and other celebrities from critics who stated that celebrities don’t follow fans back.
This comes after Don Jazzy took to his social media page to say that Nigerians are fond of ignoring their own Nigerian celebrities like Genevieve Nnaji, Olamide, Tiwa Savage, Wizkid, Davido, and many others to follow other foreign celebrities on social media. He described these people as unpatriotic.

In a rebuttal, a fan fired back at him saying that celebrities do not follow back when they are followed. The reason why some Nigerian’s fail to follow them. In response, Don Jazzy stated that celebrities are not allowed to follow more than 7500 people on Instagram.
