Maving Records boss, Michael Collins Ajereh, known within the showbiz circles as Don Jazzy has opened up on how he discover upcoming artists.
The renowned music executive, recording artiste and record producer who on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 signed another talented act to his record label has taken to his official social media account to reveal how he recruit these upcoming musicians.
Taking to the bird app, the multiple award winning music producer and songwriter revealed how he discovered Ayra Starr, Boy Spyce and his latest signee, Bayanni and also gave upcoming artistes an invaluable advice.

According to Don Jazzy, he discovered Ayra Starr, Boy Spyce and Bayanni through instagram hence urged upcoming acts to keep posting their works on the platform. He shared screenshots of his instagram conversation with them. Screenshots below.
He wrote; “From these 3 screenshots you can see that I reached out to Ayra, Boy Spyce and Bayanni myself. I won’t have reached out to them if I didn’t see a sample of what they can do on their Instagram pages. For the umpteenth time, showcase yourself on your page. I know it seems uncool to post a lot. But the again you would be an uncool artist if its only your family that gets to hear your beautiful music till you give up. Love from The Don”.
MEANWHILE: Emerging Nigerian act and newly signed Mavin Records prodigy, Bayanni is having a good run with his latest body of work, ‘Bayanni’.
On Wednesday, August 24, 2022, Mavin Records boss, Michael Collins Ajereh, widely known as Don Jazzy announced the addition of another talented recording and performing artiste, Bayanni to his record label.
Bayanni came with the release of a self titled EP, “Bayanni”. Following the successful release of the four tracked solo project, fans and music lovers have shown their appreciation to the singer.
Bayanni’s eponymous EP has debuted on Apple Music Album Chart Nigeria. The masterpiece currently occupies the second spot on the music chart next to M.I Abaga’s studio album, ‘The Guy’ which leads the chart. Screenshot below.
With this feat, Don Jazzy has asked fans and music lovers to plead with M.I Abaga to allow Bayanni to top the music chart. He tweeted; “Epp us beg @MI_Abaga #TheGuy make him chill small make we collect No.1 screenshot for BAYANNI Ep o before Buju @BNXN Ep come oooo. 🙆🏾♂️”, screenshot below.
