Nigerian author, Reno Omokri has advised people against publicizing things they are about to do.

The former presidential aide made this known in a recent post he made on his verified social media handle on the popular social media platform, Twitter.

He made this known while comparing life to the game of chess. The post he made reads;

“In a game of chess, you don’t speak. You just act. The only time that you ever speak when playing chess is to say CHECKMATE. Life is like chess. Don’t broadcast you intentions. Act quietly. Keep achieving. Your achievements are your CHECKMATE”

Some reactions the post got are;

@TangoManrio – You inspire me alot. But trust me I want to get a “Dear Prince” without offending nobody

@praise_hafeez – I have personally discovered speaking less helps you act more on all your desires and life goals.

@maduchuddi – Actually, in a game of Chess, before checkmate, you have to say check to notify an opponent each time the opponent is under check.

@EUnimawho – Thanks so much for your advice,in the kingdom of God you say it and work towards it and God confirms it,when Bishop oyedepo kept saying he will never be poor,he didnt look it,as winners we beleive that a close mouth is a closed destiny.Grace is for workers not mere confession.
