Comedian Ali Baba has sounded a warning to Africa’s richest man Alinco Dangote to halt the take over of Arsenal FC for now.

In an interview with Pulse, the comedian advised billionaire Alinco Dangote and politician Senator Orji Kalu of taking over Arsenal. According to him, the two men won’t get their money back anytime soon when they purchase the football club.

Speaking in the interview the comedian said:

Yes, Dangote can afford to buy Arsenal or any other club after his refinery project. I think it is a commercial move, not to develop our (local) sport.

I like the idea of Aliko buying the gunners. But if he buys these kindergarten players, he won’t make his money. I hope that he buys Arsenal, but the influence of an owner is limited. The coach makes the major decisions that help the club to grow.

Nigerian billionaire Dangote recently revealed in an interview his intention to buy the football club but insisted he has other projects he wants to concentrate on for now.
