Renowned Ghanaian rapper, Kwame Ametepee Tsikata who is widely known as M.anifest has inspired his followers with his latest post.

He made the post on his verified social media handle on the popular social media platform, Twitter.

The post that he made reads;

“Don’t let them rob you of your greatness. Lyricism will always be in style. Dumb it down for what or for who.”

Tsatsu Tsikata, a Ghanaian lawyer and academic, and Rev. Dr. Priscilla Naana Nketia, a lawyer and pastor, are his parents. Joseph Hanson Kwabena Nketia, his maternal grandfather, was a composer, professor, and ethnomusicologist.

M.anifest moved to the United States in 2001 to attend Macalester College in Minneapolis-St. Paul, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in economics in 2005.

M.anifest attended SOS-Hermann Gmeiner International College in Tema for high school. He was his school’s entertainment prefect.

He has held artist residencies and given lectures at St. Lawrence University and the University of Ghana, as well as spoken to classes at Hamline University, Macalester College (his alma mater), Penumbra Theater’s Summer Arts Institute, and Ashesi University.
