Ghanaian police officers have reportedly arrested lesbians who were about to get married at wedding.

However, the police officers granted them bail because there of unavailability of female cells at the local police station.

A video serving rounds online captures the moment the police disrupted a smooth wedding process ongoing at Kwahu-Obomen in the Eastern region of Ghana.

It was gathered that the lesbians were arrested for not only partaking in an activity that was against the Ghana constitution but also violating COVID-19 protocol and the landlord who rented the place to them was summoned to appear before Kwaha-Obomeng Chief Nana Effah Opinamen II.
