Reports suggesting that the Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, has refuted his statement on the Lekki tollgate have been labeled “false news” by the Ministry of Information and Culture.

The Minister has consistently maintained that no one was killed in the incident at the Lekki tollgate on October 20, 2020. On Monday, November 15, the Lagos state Judicial panel of inquiry investigating the tragic occurrence submitted its report to the state government, confirming that some individuals died during the shooting incident and that the police and Nigerian Army are responsible for the deaths.

Many Nigerians have been waiting for the Minister to respond to the panel’s conclusions. Since then, many Nigerians have been expecting the Minister to respond to the panel’s conclusions.

The Ministry of Information has disputed accusations that the Minister has reversed his former position on Facebook.

In other news, Self-acclaimed journalist, Kemi Olunloyo has postulated that the souls that perished at the Lekki Toll Gate during the EndSARS protest October 20, 2020 will never haunt her.

Despite reports of deaths recorded after the military opened fire at unarmed EndSARs protesters, Kemi Olunloyo claimed that no life perished during the incident following research she conducted.

According to Kemi Olunloyo, no family came out to claim that their member has died as a result of the massacre therefore no one was killed at the venue.

Well, things have taken a different turn as the Lagos Judicial Panel has released the report on the list of people that died and those who got missing and injured as a result of the aggressive shooting, however, Kemi Olunloyo insists confidently that no one died from the shooting incident and no soul that died will haunt her.

In her words, “The souls of anyone that died at #LekkiMassacre2020 will never haunt me. I was not part of the amusement park protest you set up there. I was watching the army and chasing bodies because they are not allowed to shoot unarmed protesters let alone take away bodies. I found NO BODY.”

“I CHASED BODIES FROM 10:11pm October 20th 2020 to 2 morgues but nobody was focused. I did not find bodies. I am VINDICATEDNow you know. Go petition the ICC against Burutai, Adamu and Commander in Chief Buhari.”
