Father Of Ada Jesus Speaks After Burial, Says What His Daughter Told Him To Do When She Dies

The family of Alaekwe is in deep pain as they bury their member Mercy Obi Nmesoma also known as Ada Jesus. Family, friends, and loved ones came together to mourn the young comedian and actress and to accord her the last respect as their daughter and gave her a befitting burial.

Ada Jesus has been in the news for few weeks after her illness became worst and was chastized over some comments she made about popular man of God Prophet Odumeje and veteran actress Rita Edochie. There was an exchange of words and curses by both parties. This made the public link her illness to the curse placed on her by Prophet Odumeje and Rita Edochie.

Ada Jesus was later admitted to a hospital in Lagos where she was diagnosed with kidney failure. Ada Jesus was given treatment until she suffered cardiac arrest and died a few weeks ago.

The funeral of the comedian commenced with the procession from the mortuary where she dressed up and brought home by the undertakers dancing with flower girls in front. There was a mass ceremony held in her home and was finally buried.

In an interview with the father of Ada Jesus with BBC Pidgin, he told the reporter that he is not happy about losing her daughter but cannot question God. He also disclosed that before the death of his daughter, she told him to give her a befitting burial. He also showed appreciation to all loved ones who donated to support her medical bills before she died.
