Nollywood legend, Richard Mofe Damijo simply called RMD is unhappy at the present condition of the country and he has taken to social media to pour out his emotions.

As insecurity in the country rises coupled with incessant killings and banditry which has broken a lot of homes in the past few days, the kidnapping of girls, including deaths of people he knows, RMD lamented that uncertainty holds us all ransom.

According to Richard Mofe Damijo, for the first time in a long while there is nothing he finds cheerful about and he espoused that it will only take the hand of God to intervene in the country.

Sharing a photo of himself looking very moody and bitter, the veteran Nigerian actor said;

For the first time in a very long while, I find nothing to be cheerful about.

Too many deaths of even people I know, not to mention the national carnage. Uncertainty holds us all ransom.

If ever the use of “The Hand of God” in theatre is more needed, it is now, in this Nigerian Play of Despair and Desolation.Divine intervention, where you dey?  We are at our wits end surely!
