Award-winning Nigerian Afrobeat songstress, Yemi Alade, has praised herself after making history by going makeup-free for the first time ever to perform live on stage.
The Johnny crooner recalls how liberated she felt singing without cosmetic enhancements on her body and face yesterday in Belgium.
Yemi Alade highlighted the freedom that comes with such bravery on Instagram, despite the fact that it occurred unanticipated.
Sharing a moment from her performance, Yemi Alade wrote;
“For the first time in my entire career, I went on stage with No makeup, Costum Attire, no pre-stage photo-up ! It wasn’t my plan in the beginning but I Have never felt so Uninhibited, musically unhinged! A freaking Rockstar! Thank you Brussels! I’m thirsty for more,”
In other news, Nigerian music sensation, Ayra Starr, has responded to an internet user who said she was skilled at prostitution.
The quickly growing actress had posted a gorgeous photo of herself wearing a crop top and a short skirt that barely covered her bottom and her fans reacted to the image and made comments on the dress.
A troll took it a step further and referred to the singer as the finest at working nights.
‘Best in being ashawwo”, he wrote.
Ayra Starr responded to the internet troll right away, adding that both she and the troll’s mother were acting in the same way.
She replied:
