So Wendy Shay is out with a new banger titled ‘Masakra’ just in time for the yuletide and we must confess it’s top-charting track which could possibly get her an award.
The song and the video has the same flavour as Hustle, another huge song from the stables of Rufftown released by Ebony around this same period for the Christmas.
Our attention has however being drawn to the lyrics of the song which sound so identical to another song released by one Kay Wusu in 2014.
The video attached to this report clearly exposes Wendy as the one who ‘stole’ the song, albeit altering a bit of the chorus and the rhythm.
Our intensive investigation reveals Kay Wusu’s song was denied airplay because of the sekzually suggestive lyrics the song was laden with and this is something Rufftown and Wendy decided to turn to their advantage.
It’s not clear if the permission was sought from the original composer before Wendy’s version was released otherwise, we should all brace ourslefves up for a protracted lawsuit in the coming days.
