Operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) have reportedly arrested the Special Adviser on Media to Kano State Governor, Salihu Tanko-Yakasai fondly called Dawusi.
This comes after he made a comment on the abduction of school girls at the Government Secondary School, Jangebe calling for the resignation of authorities if they can’t deal with bandits in the country.
He tweeted;
“Clearly, we as APC government, at all levels, have failed Nigerians in the number 1 duty we were elected to do which is to secure lives & properties. Not a single day goes by without some insecurity in this land. This is a shame! Deal with terrorists decisively or resign.”
Reacting to his comment, it has been gathered that the DSS has arrested Dawusi hence the hashtag #FreeDawusi on the bird app. Abubakar Sadiq who handles the Twitter handle of the official website of Kano State Government confirmed his arrest on Saturday morning, February 27.
He intimated that Dawusi is currently in the custody of the DSS.
