It’s has been revealed that alleged Nigerian fraudster, Hushpuppi used to operate a genuine business which fetched him genuine money.

According to a report by the British newspaper, Daily Mail, Hushpuppi, known in real life as Ramoni Abass, used to sell second-hand clothes on the streets of Lagos State,

The report read in part, “Mr Abbas started out as a secondhand-clothes trader in Lagos before claim ing to be a billionaire property developer in Dubai.”

Hushpuppi has been trending for all the wrong reasons in the past few weeks after he was arrested in Dubai for allegedly diverting over half a billion dollars from private accounts through a series of fraudulent activities.

Reports surfaced on Thursday that he has been handed over to United States of America where he will face trial for the alleged crimes committed.
