Nollywood actress Yvonne Jegede has raised alarm about the 3rd mainland bridge’s rising water level.

Yvonne Jegede bemoaned that the water level had significantly increased and pleaded for action to be taken before flooding affects Lagos.

She also questioned why the Third Mainland Bridge sea level rise wasn’t receiving the awareness and attention it merits.

Yvonne Jegede said:

“Guys, I just saw a video of Third Mainland Bridge. The water below Third Mainland Bridge has risen really high. And I’m still wondering why this is not news. And that means there’s flood coming to Lagos. It’s scary.

“So, I need to understand why it’s not news and if there are provisions for people if it comes. Because, it’s here. You can see it. You can see the video. And I’m not even trying to scare anybody but I, personally, I am scared. You guys please, let me know what you think.”

A few months ago, Yvonne Jegede shared her harrowing experience at the hands of some goons on the famous Third Mainland Bridge.

Last night at about 9pm, one guy almost robbed me on 3rdMB. I was lucky the traffic moved a bit so I moved my car then he took off. Under the bridge at Oworonsoki needs to be sanitized. The guy jump out from under the bridge, They target people driving alone be safe guys.” She wrote.

If you are driving alone in traffic, don’t drive on the fast lane (the last lane by your left), let your car be in between cars. Ladies especially, if you can, please stay wherever you are till you see day light. THERE IS HUNGER IN TOWN.
