Following the strict warning issued from President Buhari of Nigeria to people behind the never-ending destruction to his Government infrastructures, former Aide to Governor of Kano State, Salihu Yakasi Tanko fondly called Dawisu has weighed on the warning.

The violence and hike in attacks on infrastructures including the INEC facilities particularly in the South-Eastern part of the country, Buhari sent out a strong warning via Twitter following a meeting with the INEC Chairman, Mahmood Yakubu and the other electoral commissioners in Aso Villa, Abuja.

In a fresh tweet via the official handle of President Buhari, he mentioned that his administration has given those who want the destruction of the system enough time before they experience the shock of their lives.

Nigerians on social media didn’t relate well with the viral tweet hence the outrage on the microblogging platform. Similarly, Dawisu has expressed vexation over the statement. The Former Aide to Governor of Kano State believes the President himself is not the actual handle of the official Twitter account in his name.

Expressing shock by his tweet, Dawisu wrote: “We’ve given them enough time” someone actually wrote this and signed it off with the Presidents name, and posted it on his official handle. I’m shocked and repulsed by this tweet .

Many netizens have sided with the reaction from Salihu Yakasi Tanko. Nigerians on social media believe Buhari is not the actual handler of his account and hence the repulsive tweet from his account.
