Nigerian musician, Azeez Fashola who is widely known as Naira Marley has replied to his critics who are of the view that he is a bad influence on people, especially his fans.

However, the award-winning musician holds a different view and according to him, people are at liberty to decide to do what they want so he definitely can’t be a bad influence on people.

He made this known during a recent radio interview he had with renowned Ghanaian media personality, Andy Dosty on the renowned Ghanaian radio station, Hitz FM.

In his submission, he said;

“I tweet out of freedom and not boredom. A typical marlian is one who is free and happy. What people think or say about you shouldn’t be a concern.

I can’t be a bad influence on people. They decide to do what they want.”

In other news, Naira Marley shared his thoughts on the issue of entitlement happening in society.

Many people feel so entitled that they believe people owe them and if they ask for favors from such people and they don’t get them, they begin to talk trash to them.

In view of this, Naira Marley has indicated that as individuals no one owes us anything adding that if everyone knows this, he or she will have peace.

He made this known in a recent post he made on his verified social media handle on the popular social media platform, Twitter.

The post that he made reads;

“Contrary to what you’ve been taught…..Nobody owes you anything, know that and know peace.”
