A Nigerian man, Mr. Yemi Ogayemi has dragged his wife, Funmo to court demanding divorce as he accuses her of spitting on his food.
Mr. Yemi Ogayemi a school teacher petitioned a customary court in Jikwoyi, Abuja to end their marriage claiming that his wife wants to take his life.
He added that Funmi told him he will die if he sleeps with her.
“I can’t continue to live with this woman. She wants to kill me.
”She has been exhibiting vile behaviors like spitting in my food. I don’t know if it’s normal or has any negative or spiritual implications.”I don’t want to continue with this union. She also predicted that I would die this year. I don’t know if she has plans to kill me before the end of this year, he said.
However, the accused reacting to the allegations put out by Mr. Yemi told the court that she begged him for forgiveness which he agreed.
I did all that my husband said. I have begged him to forgive me, and he said he had forgiven me. I wonder why he is saying it here again “. she said.
