Rafiatu, the girlfriend of Bashir Abdulahi, the Level 400 student of the Federal University, Dutse, Jigawa State who committed suicide over allegations that she cheated on him has denied cheating on him.
It was reported that Bashir, a Mathematics student drunk poisonous substance suspected to be Sniper and died because his girlfriend cheated on him with another man and the sad incident occurred at his Yalwawa residence, located on the outskirts of the state capital, around 5pm on Monday, February 15.
According to a report by Lindaikeji news, the man took his own life after Rafiatu ended their relationship on Valentine’s Day after she discovered he was cheating on her with another lady.
She narrated how the man threatened to kill himself if she does not forgive him after she provided evidence that she cheated on him but she refused.
