Celebrated Ghanaian Highlife legend, Dan Amakye Dede, well known as Abrantie Amakye Dede has revealed that his rehearsals and stage performances are not for child’s play and doesn’t entertainment any indolence.

Speaking in an interview with Gilbert Abeiku Aggrey Santana on Okay FM’s Ekwansodwodwo segment, Amakye Dede stated that he earned his catchphrase “serious” due to how he treats his crew during his stage performances and rehearsals.

According to him, he has always carried out his duties and operations pertaining to his music craft with all seriousness and he has eventually instilled the same attitude into his crew and band.

“I’m always serious on stage. My band is even aware that when I’m playing with them and someone becomes dull I might deliberately step on your toes just to get you serious”, he said.

The legend added that he only works with seriousness, hence his popular catchphrase “seeeeerrrrious”.

In other news, Lasmid has revealed that it is never transgressional for anyone to derive inspiration or excitement from smoking marijuana.

In an interview on the Delay Show with Deloris Frimpong Manso, Lasmid stated that he doesn’t smoke marijuana neither is condemning whoever loves smoking the substance.

He made this known after he was asked by Delay if Naira Marley who earlier revealed his intentions to sign him gave him a piece of his joint upon their first encounter.

Lasmid stated that when he met Naira Marley, he was so soaked in excitement and his music that he did not notice that he was having any piece of marijuana in hand.
