Okey Bakassi, a renowned comedian, has given his reasons for his decision to officially endorse Peter Obi, the candidate of the Labour Party for president.
In a tweet that he shared, Okey Bakassi stated that he supports Peter Obi to change Nigeria so that Buhari, Tinubu, and Atiku wouldn’t need to travel to London for medical care and wouldn’t reside there.
He added that his main goal is for Nigeria to thrive and that he doesn’t want Atiku or Tinubu to lose.
Okey tweeted;
I don’t want Atiku or Tinubu to fail, I just want Nigeria to succeed. I’ll support and vote for @PeterObi to fix Nigeria, so in their very old age, Buhari & Tinubu won’t be going to London for medical treatment and Atiku won’t live in Dubai. #saveNigeria
In other news, Nollywood actor and comedian, Okey Bakassi hailed presidential aspirant, Peter Obi on social media following his withdrawal from PDP.
In a post on his Instagram page, Okey Bakassi highlighted the many types of illiterate northerners that have PVC, and suggested that people stop complaining about their votes not being recognized, because if votes don’t matter, politicians won’t pay or bribe those stupid northerners to vote for them.
Okey Bakassi recently uploaded a photo of Peter Obi, the former governor of Anambra State who is running for president in 2023, and praised him for his guts and principle, adding that he is looking forward to his next step.
He wrote:
I like the substance-based campaign he’s running, I admire his courage and principles….waiting for his next move.
