Nigerian musician and politician, Olubankole Wellington who is known in the entertainment scene as Banky W has poured down his frustrations about how people insens itively berate him on social media without even getting to know him.

Speaking in an interview on the #WithChude segment on YouTube, the award-winning singer stated that he does not derive validation from the comments of people on social media but it is sometimes very hurtful when he is being harshly criticized on social media.
He explained that most of his critics have never even had the chance to have a conversation with him in person but they have always channeled their energies into painting a satanic image of him on social media.
“There have been times that I have been depressed, you know when you wake up and you are trending on Twitter and the things people are saying are so hurtful and these are people that have never even had a conversation with you”, he said.
Banky stated that he never allows such comments to hinder him from fulfilling his purpose in life and rendering help to the people in his community.

In other news, celebrated Nollywood star, Emeka Ike has taken to his social media to narrate how he was subjected to abuse in his previous marriage.
In a post he made on his social media, the actor stated that most women lately are into abusing their partners for reasons better known to them. He revealed that he has personally been a victim of such situations in his marriage.
He disclosed that most women are fond of getting married to men simply because of their money and status in life, only to make their lives miserable at the end of the day after they have been wedded and brought to their matrimonial home.
He lamented that the abuse most women subject their husbands to has been completely ignored why men are always being tagged as the abusers in every relationship or marriage.
