Nigerian music sensation, Zlatan Ibile in an effort to encourage his fans to pursue their aspirations has recounted his success journey in an exclusive interview he granted on Tim Westwood’s show in the UK.

Zlatan Ibile born Temidayo Omoniyi Raphael reflected on his early troubles before becoming famous, telling British radio host Tim Westwood that he only had two shirts and one pair of pants at the time.

Sharing his humble beginning, Zlatan Ibile revealed that at the age of 19, when he was still a student, he won the Airtel One Mic Talent event and received a car as his prize.

The Zanku boss claimed that prior to winning the talent show, he was unnoticed and had just three pairs of clothes, two of which were shirts and the third a pair of pants.

He claimed that after winning the competition and putting in a lot of effort to get here, his life took a turn for the better.

Additionally, he said that despite receiving a car, there was no financial award, thus he had to resort to operating a taxi service out of the branded vehicle.
