On Tuesday, President Muhammadu Buhari (retd.) said his administration had done extremely well given the limited resources at its disposal.

The President made this known when he spoke at the Imo State Government House in Owerri, the state capital, after inaugurating the Owerri-Orlu Road, phase one of the Owerri-Okigwe Road, and the state House of Assembly complex rebuilt by the state governor’s administration, Hope Uzodimma.

He claimed that despite the limited resources at his disposal, his regime was able to accomplish a great deal.

He also praised his administration for driving out Boko Haram terrorists in the North East and addressing infrastructure decay, which he claimed he inherited from the Peoples Democratic Party administration in 2015.

He thanked Uzodimma for inviting him to inaugurate projects carried out by his administration for the second time in a year.

He promised to continue assisting all states, regardless of political affiliation, in delivering infrastructure assets.

According to him, the Federal Government will continue to support Imo State’s government in order to ensure that the people continue to reap the benefits of democracy.

In his submission, he said;

“This administration has done extremely well. I had to say it because those who are supposed to say it are not doing so. I don’t know why.

This support is equally available to all the states of the federation irrespective of the differences in political party affiliations.”
