Outstanding Ghanaian media personality, Oheneyere Gifty Anti has confirmed speculations made on social media that she is a feminist.

In case you might be asking, who is a feminist? A feminist is an individual, mostly a woman who believes in equal rights for women. Feminists believe that women should be given the same political, social and economic rights as men without being underestimated or belittled with their capabilities and prowess.
Gifty Anti for a while now has been fighting for women to be given the same platform as given to men for gender equality sake. Even though this does not side very well with most men, people who are into feminism believe that women have almost the same abilities and knowledge to execute tasks and also effect changes in the society if they are being given the same rights as men.
Speaking in a recent interview on the Daybreak Hitz morning segment with Sammy Forson, Gifty Anti affirmed that she is a feminist.
She revealed that she has received threats for being a feminist but also, she is marveled when people twist her statement and rain insults on her but then, she realizes that she shakes tables with her controversial statements in favor of women.
“I am a feminist. I have gotten so many threats for being a feminist. There are the ones who threaten to kill me, beat me, and whatnot“, she said.
“I get marveled by the way people twist the things you say and call you names. But it also give me the impression that I am shaking some tables“, she added.
The eloquent screen-goddess also added that she has tuned her mind never to respond to tantrums thrown at her on social media.
