In other news, Ghanaian gospel singer, Nana Yaw Boakye Yiadom, affectionately known in showbiz circles as MOG Music has recounted his first experience when he held a microphone to sing in his church.

Speaking in an interview with Deloris Frimpong Manso on the Delay Show, MOG Music stated that he first held a microphone to exhibit his talent when he was just eleven years old at his church.

He narrated that he used to be an instrumentalist in his church but one faithful day, the worship leader could not attend church services so out of frustration on who would take over, he was given the platform to lead the church in worship and he did amazingly well.

MOG Music stated that through his first experience, he was encouraged to take his singing talent seriously, and through that, he had an encounter with the legendary gospel hitmaker, Nii Okai who agreed to groom and nurture his talent.

He stated that he was mentored by Nii Okai for almost eight years while he was joggling his school with his music.
