Sensational Nigerian musician and actor, Olubankole Wellington, affectionately known as Banky W has revealed that he had no plans to marry a woman within the entertainment fraternity.

During an interview on the #WithChude segment, the award-winning musician revealed that he earlier prayed to God not to allow him to get married to an entertainer because he did not want to be in the same space as his wife.
He revealed that his dream has always been to get married to a woman in the corporate field because he disliked the idea of being married to an entertainer. However, God had another plan for him after he got married to none other than the well-known Nigerian actress, Adesua Etomi.
Banky W also stated that his wife on the other hand never wanted to marry a politician, a musician, or a pastor but unfortunately, she got attached to a musician who doubles as a politician.
He added that God answers every prayer but only answers it in a way that is aligned with His will and since they never wanted to struggle against the will of God, they allowed His will to be done.
As a reminder, the beautiful couple tied the knot in 2017 and unlike other celebrity marriages that eventually never succeed, Banky W and Adesua Etomi have managed to keep their bond stronger over the last few years despite their troubles.
