Former Highly Spiritual signee, Kurl Songx known in real life as Kelvin Agyekum has revealed that he wished his social media accounts were not seized after parting ways with his record label.

He disclosed that though he was not hurt after they denied him access to the accounts but he wishes to have it could have helped his career going on.

Many record labels in Ghana seem to use their artiste social media accounts to punish them whenever their working duration gets to end and the likes of Eshun, Joyce Blessing, and some others have been victims to this “mafia”.

The singer indicated in an interview on GBC Radio Central that the best way to ensure sanity after an artiste part ways with his or her record label is for both parties to come in common agreement on the social media pages.

According to Kurl Songx, there should be an agreement between the labels and the artiste regarding the social media accounts whether after ending the working relationship it will be given to them or the label will decide.

He noted that the pages are in the name of the artiste so they deserve it but if the label decides otherwise then there should be understanding before their work begins.
