Nigerian playwright and poet, Akinwande Oluwole Babatunde Soyinka, fondly called Wole Soyinka has given his reasons as to why he is set to contribute if the struggle against killer herdsmen ever leads to civil war.

Prof. Wole Soyinka opined that if the appropraite measures are not taken the issues between Fulani herdsmen and farms will eventually lead to a civil war. He made this disclosure while talking to BBC news.

He talked about how one becomes and a tenant in his own land and still be scared of going aroud his own neighborhood. He stressed that now that the war is at the door steps, he will do anything in his power to contribute in any way as his forest is also surrendered by Fulani herdsmen.
