A spokesman for the Labour Party’s presidential campaign, Dele Farotimi, has urged greater political engagement.
Speaking at a recent conference, Farotimi predicted that individuals who believe they are too big for politics would one day be ruled by Musiliu Akinsanya, MC Oluomo, or “mushroom children,” the chairman of the Lagos State Parks and Garages Management.
He also urged Nigerians to prepare their PVCs and to talk to their friends and family about how important the 2023 elections will be.

We need to be involved; get close to the corridors of power some can take charge! Power is not handed over to people; it is taken hence we need to take responsibility to take charge from the grassroots – it is not by education or English speaking; it takes strategic movements to take power politically in Nigeria
