Veteran Nollywood actor Segun Arinze has called out people who criticize Nigerian actors to be prostitutes and yahoo boys.
In an exclusive interview with Qed TV, veteran actor Segun Arinze revealed that it is only ignorant people who classify Nollywood actors as prostitutes and yahoo boys. when quizzed about the notion of people about Nollywood actors being prostitutes and yahoo boys the actor said:
“They don’t know any better so ignore them. It is irresponsible to call someone that when you are supposed to be the guiding line, advisor nudging the young ones and moving them forward.”
“If you see them going in the wrong direction it’s your responsibility to bring them back and advice them.”
The actor also shared his two-cent on the recent debate about a new Nollywood industry being different from the Nollywood industry in the past. According to him, the industry remains the same despite the time and era we find ourselves in.
