Award-winning Nigeran rapper, songwriter and actor, Falz has opened up on his music career as he reflects on his achievement and how far he has come since entering mainstream 5 years ago.

Falz born Folarin Falana took to his Instagram handle and shared a music video he released in 2016, ‘Soft work’ which he described as an artistic representation of his story when he released the song at the time.

He remarked that he is genuinely fulfilling his passion and having fun while plying his trade as a musician, however, he reckoned that because he is mature now, he can’t use the lines of the song anymore although nothing much has changed about him.

He wrote;

On this exact day, 5 years ago (July 6, 2016), I released this smash. It was an artistic representation of my story at the time.  Genuinely fulfilling my passion & having so much fun while at it.

5 years later, not much is different .. Only that I can’t say this line anymore – “mature money and I ain’t even 30 yet” 😆  Yah. Turned 30 last year Thank you @sesstheprblm for this beat 🔈🔥
