A military aircraft, King Air 350 en-route to Minna conveying at least 6 people has crashed in Abuja.
Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika corroborated the incident and described it as a fatal one. He called for calm and patience as we await the outcome of the military into the accident. The plane reportedly crashed after reporting engine failure.
He tweeted: A military aircraft King Air 350 has just crashed short of our Abuja runway after reporting engine failure enroute Minna. It appears to be fatal. We should remain calm & wait for the outcome of investigation by the military, while we pray for the departed soul/souls if any.”
