Meanwhile, Ghanaian musician, Gregory Nii Bortey Newman, widely known as King Promise has lamented about the insensitive comments passed by some Ghanaians on social media against entertainers.

Speaking in an interview on the Delay Show with Deloris Frimpong Manso, King Promise stated that his craft as a musician is not centered on what is being speculated about him on social media by his critics.

He stated that most trolls on social media are usually not happy in their homes, hence would subject anyone to harsh criticism without any just cause.

He further lamented that trolls who never hesitate to berate celebrities and other people on the internet do the worst things in their homes than those who don’t even post on social media, yet they find pleasure in making other people feel displeased about themselves and what they do.

King Promise also stated that most people make insensitive posts on social media for the fun and for likes on social media and he is definitely not a partaker of such ventures.
