The Kogi State Governor, Governor Alhaji Yahaya Bello has vowed to deal with terrorists tormenting the lives of people in the North.
There have been some concerns over the security of the North state in recent times following several attacks on indigenes by a sect of terrorists.

Appointed as the chairman of the security committee created by the Northern States Governors’ Forum to address insecurity in the region, Governor Bello indicated that he will not spare any terrorist and that he will ensure that the North is safe once again.
In his submission, he said;
“As you are aware, the North has taken a decisive position. We will work hard with all committee members to ensure security and the whole of the North is strongly rooting for success in the new assignment.”
