A Nigerian lady identified as Gift has reportedly been arrested after allegedly stabbing her boyfriend to death after he caught her with another man.

The incident according to reports happened on Monday 24th October 2022 at Imafidon Street, Egor, Benin, Edo State. An account given by a source who claim that the deceased is an uncle revealed that the deceased caught his girlfriend with another man at his residence and confronted her.
Amid the confrontation, Gift was said to have picked up a knife and stabbed her boyfriend, Eghosa in the neck which caused his sudden death.
“The deceased is my uncle. She had visited his compound to see another man and she was caught. Eghosa accosted her and it led to an argument. Before eyewitnesses knew what was happening, she picked up a knife from his kitchen and stabbed him in his neck. He passed on and she was almost sent to hell’s gate by neighbors who saw what had happened‘, the source said.
The neighbors who nearly subjected the young lady to the same fate handed her over to the authorities as the deceased was being sent to the morgue for autopsy.
