The LGBTQ magazine is reported to have gotten rid of the photos of Adekunle Gold’s feature after Nigerian’s accused his wife Simi of rendering an apology for her past homophobic comments only to protect the feature of her husband.
Simi in the early hours of yesterday August 3rd rendered an unqualified apology to the LGBT community over her previous homophobic comments. Simi condemned homosexuality in her YouTube series “Stoopid Sessions”. Following her comments, Gay Activist Bisi Alimi called out Simi for promoting homophobic violence.

In a lengthy write-up yesterday, Simi stated that LGBTs don’t deserve the hate meted out to them and also they don’t need to live in fear. She also apologized for her derogatory comments against them.
However, some Nigerians have accused her of apologizing because Adekunle Gold was recently featured in an LGBTQ magazine but it seems the magazine will no longer work with the “Something different” singer.
