Nigerian actress, Tonto Dikeh was welcomed by a mammoth crowd as she arrived in Rivers State.
The award-winning actress is currently in the Rivers State as she is set to join the campaign of the ADC as she is the deputy governorship candidate for the party.
Sharing a video of her arrival on her verified social media handle on the popular social media platform, Instagram, she wrote;

Following my announcement as the Deputy Governorship Candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in the 2023 gubernatorial elections in Rivers State, I was hosted to a welcome reception by leaders, women and youths of Rumuokwuta, and the entire Obio Akpor LGA of Rivers State. The massive turnout was an expression of devotion to ensuring a greater Rivers State and an appreciation of God on his blessings upon my life. I thank the leaders of our party, the paramount rulers, women and youth groups and The committee youth on mobilization and sensitization @cymsnigeria for coming out in their numbers to welcome me. I will not take your love for granted!”
In other news, the ex-husband of Nigerian actress, Tonto Dikeh has reacted to viral reports that he has been appointed a deputy governorship candidate.
According to the father of two, these reports are not true adding that his fans and followers should disregard such information.
He reacted to this report in a recent post he made on his verified social media handle on the popular social media platform, Instagram.
The post that he made reads;
